The Florida State Seminoles took the practice fields on Tuesday following a bye week and heading into the match-up against the University of Massachusetts Minutemen at home in Doak Campbell Stadium Kalen DeLoach Jersey. It was a good practice overall and the tone was energetic and focused. Here are some plays that stood out:Tempo/two-minuteThe stand-out play in the two-minute drills offensively was a beautiful throw and catch from quarterback McKenzie Milton to wide receiver Andrew Parchment. Wide receiver Ontaria Wilson on the sidelines was pointing to the open spot of the field and Parchment got over cornerback Travis Jay to highpoint the ball. Jay played good coverage but it was just a better play by Parchment and an even better throw.11 on 11Jordan Travis, on a rollout right, found McClain in stride heading towards a clear-cut path to the endzone but defensive back Jarvis Brownlee caught him from behind and forced the ball out. McClain recovered the fumble in the endzone but was quickly coached up by head coach Mike Norvell about ball security.Jordan Travis made a unique play after his pass was tipped in the air by defensive end Derrick McClendon II. The ball shot straight up and seemed to be in the air for 20 seconds but it was more like 1.5. Travis caught the tipped ball and took it into the forest of linemen for positive yardage and the play was blown dead after contact to the QB back Demorie Tate jumped a route on an underthrown ball by Milton for a pick and took it back to the line of scrimmage as the whistles blew. It looked like he wanted to keep the ball for himself holding onto it tightly while running back to the defense. 1 on 1 wide receivers and defensive backsBoth quarterbacks were making great throws today. Milton found rookie tight-end Jackson West after he locked up with defensive back Brendan Gant. West spun out of the release and took off downfield for an easy touchdown with Gant in tow.Another big play by McClain against defensive back Omorion Cooper happened when McClain juked twice and Cooper bit hard. McClain took off with Cooper trailing him to high point the ball and there was a little too much contact and jersey pulling from Cooper drawing a pass interference flag McKenzie Milton Jersey. All in all the receivers found success today, there were a few issues with drops but not nearly as many in the past. Some rookie receivers showed out like Jordan Young and Malik McClain and the quarterbacks were able to find them with the ball.
